Gameplay
You play as a missionary who has discovered an uncharted island. The gameplay is in the same spirit as the Myst series, where you get to freely explore the island, solving puzzles that allow you to learn more about the island and the civilization that once lived there, and allow you to venture deeper into the island.
The puzzles revolve around learning how to operate the devices the civilization created, reading the literature the civilization left behind (and learning the language of the civilization), and solving puzzles the civilization left behind to enter protected areas.
The Island
The whole game takes place on Atlantian Island. This island is divided into many smaller areas, each surrounded by tall mountains. Within the areas are grassy meadows, rivers, canyons, and Atlantian buildings.
